The way that i have it set up in the studio is post process pre frader, so i dont affed level with the fader. and now you can use the buss section (8 channles) as your controler for logic, Sure you have a problem wih the routing, i have set up the makie controler, in order so manipulate the tracks in logic be sure that you engage the DAW remote.

I have set up the control surface on logic to mackie control and they are corresponding with each other- I just can't hear anything! Also the gain/compressor/eq is still on channels one and two but I just want to hear a direct signal from logic and not re-effected by the X32.

That is correct i have the audio from logic routed to channel 17 & 18, this allow me to hear tracking rooms in channels 1-16 and at the same time use 17&18 to hear logic Now run cables from the aux channels you've chosen on the back of the X32 to your recording device.Ģ)When I do listen back to what I've recorded it comes through on channels 1 and 2 and thats it. In the last column in this screen you have, amongst others, the choice to choose post-fader. "aux 1" assigned to "main left" and "aux 2" to "main right". I haven't done a mixdown from the board yet, but I believe you need to do the following: Go to "routing" then "aux out" and choose which aux you want, e.g. When you've got this going then you just have to push the "select" button for any given channel, and can adjust panning, FX, etc.for each channelģ. By pushing the buttons on the board that move you thru blocks of 8 incoming signals, you can hear them all. When you do this, then each track will come thru the faders on the left hand side of the X32.

Windows users will first need to install the latest driver available from Behringer. Connect the X32 to your computer via USB.

To hear each track separately thru the X32, in Logic Pro you must set each track's output to a mono output (1-32). Open the ROUTING menu, select the CARD OUT tab, and select new sound sources for the card’s output channels. I understand the frustration, believe me! Though I own a X32 Compact, here are some answers to your questions, by number, that I hope will help:Ģ. I am very confused and would really appreciate someone taking the time to help me. I hope someone is able to understand what I'm going on about here! I have tried to change it to post fader but nothing happens. I have set up the control surface on logic to mackie control and they are corresponding with each other- I just can't hear anything! Also the gain/compressor/eq is still on channels one and two but I just want to hear a direct signal from logic and not re-effected by the X32.ģ) When I do a mix on the X32 it comes in pre-fader on Logic. However some problems:ġ) Do I always need to change the routing(local 1-8 to card 1-8) on the X32 to hear what I've just recorded and not what is going on in the live room?Ģ)When I do listen back to what I've recorded it comes through on channels 1 and 2 and thats it.

I am able to record into the X32 and then Logic accepts it and I can see all the Audio being recorded. I think I may have watched all the youtube vids on this and still am stuck. I would like to be able to use it as an audio interface and a control surface. I have Logic pro X and a Behringer X 32 Producer. I was wondering whether anyone might be able to help me with this:
